Hello!
On Sunday 27th July your local Neighbourhood Officers conducted a Road Traffic Operation across two locations in Bradshaw and Brandlesholme.
Officers stopped fifteen vehicles in total, nine of which were travelling over the speed limit. The fastest recorded speed being 41mph in a 30mph zone.
I would like to remind road users that a minor road traffic offence can often lead to a serious collision but there are some really simple things you can do to reduce the likelihood of being involved, such as: taking your time, sticking to the speed limit, putting your mobile phone away and of course always wearing a seatbelt.
These are the leading causes of accidents and driving responsibly could greatly reduce the number of incidents we have on the road.
